Texas Sheet Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cupsFlour
- 2 cupsSugar
- 1 tspBaking Soda
- 2 sticksButter
- 1/4 cupCocoa
- 1 cupWater
- 2Eggs
- 1/2 cupSour Cream
- 1 tspVanilla
- 1 stickButter
- 5 TbspMilk
- 2 TbspCocoa
- 4 cupsPowdered Sugar
- Vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Mix flour, sugar, and baking soda together in bowl.
- In a sauce pan, boil 2 sticks of butter, cocoa, and water.
- Add contents of pan to dry ingredients.
- Mix eggs, sour cream, and vanilla with rest of batter.
- Bake for 20+ minutes.
- Boil 1 stick of butter, milk, cocoa.
- Add contents of pan to powdered sugar along with a few drops of vanilla.
- Pour over cake while cake is still hot.
