Spritz
Ingredients
- 1Large Egg Yolk
- 1 TbspHeavy Cream
- 1 tspVanilla Extract (or almond extract)
- 1 cupUnsalted Butter, softened (about 70 degrees)
- 3/4 cupSugar
- 1/4 tspTable salt
- 2 cupsAll-Purpose Flour
Directions
- Adjust oven rack to middle position; heat oven to 375°.
- In small bowl beat yolk, cream, and vanilla extract with fork until combined.
- In standing mixer, cream butter, sugar, and salt at medium-high speed until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
- Scrape down bowl. With mixer running at medium speed, mix in yolk/cream mixture.
- Scrape down bowl. Gradually bean in flour on low until combined. Give final stir with spatula.
- Make cookies with press.
Notes
- Make sure pans are cool before pressing more cookies on them.
