Potato Rolls
Ingredients
3 cups |
All-purpose flour |
2 tbsp |
Sugar |
2 tsp |
Instant yeast |
1 tsp |
Salt |
1/4 cup |
Dry milk powder |
1/2 cup |
Instant potato flakes |
4 tbsp |
Melted butter |
1 cup |
Warm water (105°F-115°F) |
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in standing mixer bowl. Knead on low for 5 minutes.
- Shape dough into ball and place in a greased bowl.
- Cover and let rise until double in size.
- Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface.
- Divide into 12 pieces. Place in 9" greased cake pan.
- Let rise again until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Bake uncovered for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown (or 200°).
- Brush with 1 tbsp melted butter.
Notes:
- - Can be made ahead. Rise once, punch down, put bowl in refrigerator.
- - Reheat baked rolls in foil in the oven.
