Kind Bars - Chocolate and Sea Salt

Ingredients

2 cups Almonds
3/4 cup Unsalted, roasted peanuts
3/4 cup Roasted walnuts
1/2 cup Rice krispies
1 TBSP Flaxseed meal
1/2 cup Honey
1/3 cup Maple syrup
1/2 tsp Sea salt
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips
1/2 TBSP Vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Line bottom of 1/4 sheet pan with parchment. Cut another piece of parchment for spreading later.
  2. If nuts need to be roasted, roast at 350° for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix nuts, rice krispies, flaxseed meal in large bowl.
  4. In 1 1/2 qt saucepan combine honey, syrup, 1/4 tsp salt, and vanilla and cook to 260°.
  5. Immediately pour over nut mixture and quickly stir.
  6. Dump into pan. Using parchment, spread mixture into an even layer.
  7. Cool slightly, dump onto cutting board and cut into bars.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Melt chocolate chips and oil in microwave (30 secs at a time).
  10. Drizzle over bars using fork.
