Granola

Ingredients

1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp Salt
4 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
5 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
2 cups Whole Raw Almonds, chopped
3 TBSP Flaxseed meal

Directions

  1. Adjust oven to upper-middle position.
  2. Preheat oven to 325°.
  3. Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. In large bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  5. Whisk in the vegetable oil really well.
  6. Add oats, almonds, and flaxsed and mix together with rubber spatula.
  7. Spread oat mixture on baking sheet. Compress oat mixture very well.
  8. Bake until lightly browned, about 40 minutes, rotating the sheet halfway through baking.
