Potato Rolls
Ingredients
- 3 cupsAll-purpose flour
- 2 tbspSugar
- 2 tspInstant yeast
- 1 tspSalt
- 1/4 cupDry milk powder
- 1/2 cupInstant potato flakes
- 4 tbspMelted butter
- 1 cupWarm water (105°F-115°F)
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in standing mixer bowl. Knead on low for 5 minutes.
- Shape dough into ball and place in a greased bowl.
- Cover and let rise until double in size.
- Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface.
- Divide into 12 pieces. Place in 9" greased cake pan.
- Let rise again until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Bake uncovered for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown (or 200°).
- Brush with 1 tbsp melted butter.
Notes
- Can be made ahead. Rise once, punch down, put bowl in refrigerator.
- Reheat baked rolls in foil in the oven.
